Colombian Gold

It's amazing how far we've come in terms of weed quality since the 70's. This looks like straight up dirt, . If someone busted out a stash looking like this today, I'd laugh my ass off at them, though the letters section of these issues are abuzz with people raving about this stuff. I guess you go for the best available at the time. Thank jah for the evolution of weed genetics over time. Here are a couple pictures of the "Columbian Gold":

    1. Found the old hippie ;)

There's no question that weed quality--both THC & CBD content--has risen dramatically since the 70s & 80s. So much that it's unpleasant for some people (including me) to smoke the new stuff. I much prefer the weed of olden days in terms of THC content. But they still could've done a better job of manicuring it so it LOOKED like something other than dog doo-stained grass.

  2. lol @ the fools claiming this dirt weed was actually superior to today's stuff. No, it's not. And it's not up for debate either. Today's weed sometimes exceeds 30% THC, while the '70s stuff usually hovered around 2-4%. THC is the stuff that gets you high. It was full of seeds because nobody knew how to grow females. STOP SAYING IT WAS BETTER THAN TODAY'S WEED.

  3. got news for you kids. You never had any of the Santa Marta Gold that showed up a couple times a year back in the late 70s. I don't really care what %% THC you're talking but I'm sure this was up there. Point is, the high and the taste was apart from anything you see nowadays. Trust me, if you never had this you missed out. And don't tell me you can grow it theses days in a greenhouse , it was clearly a product of a far away land. Outdoor strain.

  5. With some patience and a bit of experience, equatorial sativa strains can be brought to full maturity indoors under MH...

26-week strains are difficult but effects are some you don't get in quicker strains.
